As you all know I have a beagle pup who is reaching 4 months of age. He was doing really well w/ his crate and could sleep 5-6 hours during the night. Starting this week we've noticed he whines & whimpers alot. I take him to the bathroom, or give him water.But as soon as he settles down I place him back in the crate and he whines, whimpers, and will paw at the gate, circles inside. I've given him toys & changed them out every so often. I just do not know what happened just all of a sudden this week he won't sleep through the night. I've read on ignoring him when he is in the crate whining away, which I did at 3am this morning, but he whined for 1 hour. So I took fed him & took him out. It is now 420 am and he's finally sound asleep. Took him about 5 minutes and then I heard snoring. The sound of JOY right now :hyper: SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!! Well I suppose I should catch on some sleeping as well since I have to get up for work in 3 hours. Advice anyone ? Also neuter question ? After that procedure he should simmer down a tad ...right ??

I was told by the Vet asst. when I took Mizu to the vet a few weeks ago.
I mentioned that he was super hyper and it was hard to cut his nails. She then told me .. Oh once he is neutered he will settle down and be more calm..
