I haven't done that with Abby but yesterday early afternoon I was out in the garage, the big door was closed to I let Abby out with me to sniff around while I did some stuff and the cat decided to come out too. Smart Abby comes inside when it's time but the cat doesn't--stubborn little thing--so I closed the door on him with the intention of opening it in a few minutes to see if he was ready to come in.
