I won't miss summer either. If it ever ends. It will be at least another month, maybe 6 weeks before it's cool enough for windows to be open though.

LOL! Flash, you and Menolly ought to start a beagle Tanning club!

I'm not going to miss summer, either; it's FINALLY leaving on schedule this year! The nights have finally cooled off; right now it's only 56! It'll warm up again midweek, but after that it should stay cool for the rest of fall.

Seasons around her go by temperatues. Once it's consistently 65 degrees or lower during the day (between September and November), it's Fall. When it drops to 40 degrees or lower during the day, it's Winter. Once it hits 70 again, it's Spring, and Summer arrives when it hits 100.

I hope we get a fluke and actually get snow this Winter.

I had no idea that our furkids can tan (I know, talk about being naive)! At my last trip, I asked the vet why Java's belly turned from a light pink to a darker brown. She said that since he LOVES to sun bathe, and there is no fur to shade the area, it's basically a tan.
