I tried going to that Dog Food Analysis site but it won't load ? What type of puppy food do you feed your Beagle ? I see a few of you use Nutra Pro ~ is that pretty good ?

I fed Chloe Wellness up until 2 weeks ago. I changed her to Merrick and I'm pleased. With Wellness, which is an excellent food, she was pooping endlessly. With Merrick her pooping decreased and it's a little more solid. Feels like more is being absorbed, than going out.

I'm feeding Maggie Merrick Puppy Plate. I've also tried Wellness Just For Puppy, and Innova brand puppy food (all good brands) but being a picky eater, she seems to like Merrick the best.

We are a using holistic dog food for our boys called Innova. It is made from human grade ingredients and gardes out at the top on the web site you are looking at. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

After learning what goes into some foods and what those ingredients do to animals, it scared me into switching right away.
The cost is slightly more, but the health of my boys is worth it.

I'm with Joe on the Innova. I've been feeding it to Jersey since I got her and I also fed it to my Amber before that. It is a little costly, but you don't have to feed as much so it balances out a little bit. She has very little poop and it's very solid. I usually mix some canned food in with it as well, just to give her a variety. I usually use Merrick, but lately I've been trying some other brands. We have a specialty pet shop here that stocks a large selection of high quality foods.
