What did your beagles do today?...well...Mine painted each other.

I paint in my spare time. Until today, I kept all of my paints in a nice little box on a shelf in the living room. Well, I came home at lunch to find a trail of paint that started at the door and led me straight to two beagles with tails wagging 90 miles an hour. They had torn apart my box and decided they wanted to use their snouts as paint brushes. Lizzy had red paint on her snout...and Bergen had red paint on her back. While Bergen had white paint on her snout and Lizzy had white paint all over her back. The only thing I can figure is that they painted each other with their snouts. I managed to somehow be furious and laugh hysterically at the same time. Oh how I wish I had a camera in my house to film their little painting session. I am ready for the weather to warm up so I can start exercising them enough again. They are getting into all kinds of mischief.

MichelBeagalo?

I just asked earlier today on another thread - What is it about Beagles? If a child did what Beagles do (ie paint one another) we would probably be quite cross, when a Beagle does it - it makes us smile!!!:)

Oh, I forgot to answer the question - my Beagle did a bit of landscape gardening!
Oh dear! That must've been some sight to come home to! I know I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face ;)

I too can't wait for the warm weather (even though I know it is a long time away), they are getting cabin fever!
all the interior doors in our house have the lever style knobs rather than plain round ones.(easier to open with hands full)our beagles soon learned they can pull the lever down and push the doors open to get into other rooms. unfortunately they cant push the lever down and pull the door open to get back out. now whenever we leave the house we have to make sure all the interior doors are locked. a beagle trapped in a room alone can do alot of damage trying to figure a way back out.
ohhh noooo
I always used to go to my parents' place on Sundays. One time when me and my beagle showed up, he went right to the living room to a big potted plant and pulled a bone out of it. My mom looked at me and said she wondered how dirt got on the floor the previous Sunday. She just laughed at him "burying" his bone for safe keeping

Oh my gosh that is too funny!
I have the first morning walk and always put a bone in my sock top to give to Scout before putting him back in the crate well this am he got his head stuck in my boat looking for the bone. look so funny walking around with my boat on his head. had to laugh before i could help get it off.
In response to your question, Benji ate a cube of butter last night. It accidentally fell on the floor while I was setting the table for dinner. He was right there to devour it!
