I have used Heartguard for 15 years on various dogs for heartworm prevention. I've lived in Florida and now Tennessee, and I would never take my dogs off it. I'm switching to Frontline from k9 advantix since ticks are the main concern for me, because Henry and I do a lot of hiking in wooded areas.
