Vomit

Charlie threw couple of time, he threw up his dinner just now. Only a maybe a couple of spoonful of it.
I have been feeding him only once a day now, he would not eat even if I feed him during the day. He has been fine until yesterday.
Seems like I knew all the tricks of treating a sick dog. But all of the sudden he threw me off guard! Please refresh me again. Do I try feeding him some can pumpkin along with his kibbles? That's diarrhea, he doesn't have that yet.
I do not want to be too paranoid just yet and start running to the vet. The weather has been very toasty here over 100 degree.
Maybe it is just the heat.
Thanks
Oh, it has been a long time, hope this will find everyone well.

Re: Vomit

You can try feeding him some cooked rice and see how he does with that. It is very bland. If ok with that you can try boiled chicken in the rice. Our vet says we can give Pepto Bismal. Someone on this site gave the amount to give per weight of the doggie. He probably ate something that didn't agree with him. He'll be ok in a few days. Ours go through this from time to time.

Re: Vomit

Thanks for asking. He threw up some water after going to the dog park. Its the water he drank from the bucket, I know it is dirty, by the time I ran over, it was too late.
I mixed half a teaspoon of pepto bismal, cook rice, some cook chicken and a few drop of chicken broth. He licked it clean.
I'll check on him after. His poop, excuse me....seems fine, not runny.
