So
i just noticed something....
when i take Snoopy for a walk she does not ever go to the bathroom. this last walk i noticed she seemed really anxious like she had to go but she didn't - then as soon as I opened the gate to our little yard she went in and peed!
why won't she pee anywhere but home?
i never thought that would be an issue heh

Dogs get used to peeing on a certain surface. You should damp a cloth or something in her pee and take it outside where she CAN pee (grass, dirt...). When time comes to go potty, stay outside with her until she pees. She'll get it eventually. Praise A LOT when she does!!!

Jersey is like that. When we take her for a walk she usually waits until we get back by our building before she pees. If we're at my aunt's house, she does the same thing and waits to pee until we're back in her yard. She'll go in other places if she has to go but I think she prefers to pee in her "spot".

Molly does this. We'll go on a long walk and she won't pee until we get home and let her in the back yard. Daisy on the other hand pees about 20 times every walk. I mean, eventually only a few drops are coming out, but she tries anyway.
