This was posted in my other dog group, and wanted to pass it along:

The University of Nebraska is releasing about 20 beagles to the Lincoln Humane Society very soon. These dogs were used to test vaccines and are reported to be in fine condition and ready for good homes. The dogs will be spayed/neutered and will have all shots. I was on vacation when this information became available, so sorry I don't know more. If anyone is interested in a beagle rescue, PM me and I'll point you in the right direction.
Obviously you can't PM this lady, but if you'd like some more information, let me know and I'll figure out a way to put you in touch with Pat.
Sure hope they find forever homes soon!
