Hey guys, I need help. We are planning on driving to Canada (Toronto, the falls) next weekend and we want to take Chloe.
Any of you know what I need as far as documentation for her? Crossing the border, although it's only for a day.....

Any input is appreciated

You'll need health papers; a vet will have to look at her and then issue you health papers saying she is healthy/carries no diseases/illness. It has to be stamped by the gov't (the vet sends it in) and it usually takes over a week to get the papers back, so you'll want to make an appointment soon.
We live in northern MN and go into Canada often!
Have fun!

I checked with the Canadian Consulate in NY, they told me that I need just the vaccination papers. Double checked with her just to make sure: Proof of Rabies and Health certificate - no government stamp required!!! YAY! much easier than I thought.

Oh wow, thats awesome! Our health papers here (in MN) have to be sent in to the state Gov't, stamped, and then mailed back to us before we can enter. It stinks for our horses, as we show horses a lot in Canada, and papers are only good for a month, so we frequently have to preform that routine! Have fun in Canada, ay' Chloe?
