us for a whole year. It has been a while since I have posted but she is doing great and was spayed yesterday and is wide open today. I am having a hard time keeping her still.
For anyone that doesn't remember or is new we found our Tillie dumped out in a trash pile. She was very sick and very thin, spent a week at the vet and we were only going to keep her long enough to find a good home. Well she soon won our hearts and we decided to keep her(we already had 3 bassets and a golden)whats one more. She has become best friends with our golden. When we brought her home she was afraid of everyone and spent the first couple months hiding under a end table. She is a different girl now. She runs, plays, steals toys socks etc. and is always smiling. We took her monday for her yearly check-up and she has gained 12 lbs and what is truely a blessing is she is heartworm neg. The vet tech said it was truely meant for her to be with us and I agree.
What wonders you've done for Tillie! I agree that she was meant to be with you, and I'm sure she agrees too. Just imagine going from homeless, sick, and hungry to having a family, being loved and well-cared for.
Thanks for refreshing our collective memory about Tillie! She looks great!! She is posed so prettily, and her eyes are so expressive. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
