Well it has not been under 95 for a week (101 today!!!!!) and I can't get the Girls to stay inside! Hubby says they are dogs (although I found out today he has made special trips home during the past week to check on them due to the heat) and they are fine outside.

Now they are sleeping on the couch beside me, but everytime I get up, they watch were I am going and if it is near the door, they are both begging to go back out!

So everyone talk me down into being an overprotective Mommy and *making* them stay inside where it is cool!

You do right to keep them in. Short trips to the garden are o.k. I suppose they would go indoors if they were too hot. Do they have shade outside?

If they are out, just make sure they have plenty of water available! The Bagel thrives outside even when the temps get up to the teens (117 this year) but I make sure he has severel sources of water and shade.

Jersey has been wanting to go out a lot lately too. It's so miserably hot I just don't know how she stands it. She only stays out for a little while then comes in to cool off. Then she wants back out. I could spend the entire day letting her out on the balcony and back inside.
