So Duke started pupply school last week. He was actually a really good boy and the instructor usually called on us as the first to do any of the lessons we were learning. He was also Mr. Sociable, wanting to be friends with the other dogs in class. Luckily, it's a small class with only 4 other dogs in it.
When we got home, the boys were asking if he was the class clown (which we were all expecting). I told them no, he was really good. Then I told them them there was another beagle in the class that barked a lot (Duke never let out a peep). My son laughed and asked me if the other beagle had a "rooster bark" like Duke. I about died! What a perfect description for a beagle bark. I thought it was too funny and you all can relate.
