You're very welcome. I've been using Cheerios for treats for YEARS! When I can get them I buy the big bags of generic Cheerios. They're great treats - every beagle I've ever had here loves them - they are even good for them - as far as I'm concerned, it's a win-win situation. They're wonderful for training treats. I'm glad they work for you, too.

Wow! I never even though of that! Although... I would be tempted to eat the cheerios, hehe.

Also, Trader Joe's sells these giant bags of these little dime sized treats that are 3 calories each for dogs. I have been using those as rewards as well

We don't have anything like that here. I'm in the sticks. I used to be able to get TINY puppy biscuits at Safeway (they were called training treats) but they haven't sold them for years. I've stopped using dog biscuits as treats since they're mostly made of wheat - and since wheat is a major allergen, plus if they have too many they get the runs. Not worth it. One of my clients gets commodities delivered, every month they give her a 2# box of cheese - which she doesn't use - so when she has extra she gives it to me. I cut it into TINY cubes for treats for them - and also buy hot dogs and slice them very thin as treats. When I took JoJo to obedience school several years ago, the trainer suggested tiny bites of hot dog or thin slices of string cheese. That works too.
