Mine all loved frozen dish cloths. I would soak the cloth with water and freeze. They would chew on them forever without pain so it must have numbed the gums. I was cleaning out my kitchen "catch everything" drawer the other day. Amazing how many puppy teeth I have saved :p Julie

Oh great, I am not alone. I saved a bunch of Marley's too!

Give anything that he can chew on to soothe the gums. I had a bone from Petsmart that I could soak in water and freeze. He loved it. Similar to the dishcloths.

You know I never worry about what to give them when they start chewing, just worry about things I do not want them to chew. So just to lure them away I'll give them raw hide, chew stick etc.
One thing for sure, dogs do not cry when teething.
