I'm not sure about the rest of you beagle owners, but getting snoopy to swim this summer is a HUGE accomplishment.
She just learned yesterday. She was sooo scared of the water. I gently coaxed her in and went in with her..showed her she could swim and we gradually built her confidence

Then, I couldn't keep her out of the water! she's a stick fetching water beagle now

I love it! Snoopy looks like she was having a blast. Jersey will wade in shallow water but no swimming for her. We tried bringing her into the Gulf once and she couldn't swim to the shore fast enough.
