The girls helping Karen pull weeds.

I'd gone in for a drink, and saw the three of them out the kitchen window. I had to take it through the glass and screen. Sadie had already seen me and was starting to stir.

Their black backs get so hot you can hardly touch them... I guess they like it.

Oh I feel your pain! I grew up in Brandon and now we're living in the panhandle. It's not much better up here. LOL

My girls love to sun also. It's been so rainny the last couple of weeks that they have been pouting a lot so today we replaced all the straw and bales in the playpen and out they went. Running and Sunning until it rained again. Brandy cried so much after it quit raining that I just let them go back out to the playpen. They have now been out most of the afternoon. They are sunning and loving it. They do not like cold and neither do I. I don't know how you folks up in cold country endure it. Give me heat!

Hot, good.

Cold, baaaad!
Good point. I'd rather deal with a Florida summer than Northern winters.

but i do wish it'd warm up here its just been rain after rain after rain here lately. i'm sure the tedster would much prefer the warm weather tho.

I lived on a Caribbean island for many years -- big difference here in Florida is that, not only is it hot, it is extremely humid and we have none of the glorious Caribbean breezes. It's the humidity that gets to me -- the days that are 90+ and not humid really aren't bad.

Outside of all the rain we've gotten in June, this cooler summer is great. All in all, I'd rather have summer than winter. Isn't it something when the winter seems six months long! and summer goes by too fast!

Daisy loves the sun -- I don't know how she can stand it! I can't even touch her for a couple minutes after she comes in. Love the pics!

Roscoe seems to love the sun the most out of our three!
They have acess to a big grassy area when we let them out and a small strip of blacktop, more often than not, I see Roscoe lying right on the blacktop, sprawled out like a sunbather! I don't get it but he LOVES it! I don't let him stay out too long like that though
