Well, I am ever so happy today is the last day Summer gets steroids for her rash. Yes, she has cleared up. It also makes her hungry, thirsty, and a thief! She has put on 3 pounds and started forcing Murphy out of his food bowl. Bad girl! Thats another story.

But lately, she has made a habit of stealing paper and plastic cups for what is inside. Usually its my wife's "fancy" coffee from the store up the road. This morning it was the remnants of my shake from last night. Problem is, Summer takes the cup, and dumps it on the new couch so she can lick it up. What a mess. Luckily, Murphy has made owning a steam cleaner mandatory in our house.

I know, don't leave the cups out for her to get too.

Joe ends his rant and steps off his soapbox.

Glad to hear she is done with the meds. I had to take steroids once for an allergic reaction that wasn't getting better. I wasn't overly hungry but I was so irritable all the time. I can understand how Summer feels.

I am glad that Summer is done with her meds. As to the cups, it's a hard thing to remember at our house too. You would think after almost seven years we would learn. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wave.gif

To paraphrase a saying ... it's the meds, not the dog! So glad for you and Summer that it is the end of the steroids. Know what you mean about the steam cleaner -- unfortunately, by the time I realized it, it was too late for the living room carpet.

Maggie has never done this before but last night I have an iced white chocolate mocha from Starbucks that I had almost finished that was sitting on the dining room table next to me. Maggie jumped right up in my lap, grabbed the straw and pulled it out of my cup, dropped it on the floor, and then started licking and chewing it up!! I know it is probably the medicine in your case but you never know! I'm glad to hear Summer is almost done with her medicine!!
