A friend of mine recently adopted a Yorkie named Molly. We had a cookout last night at my house, since our plans to go camping this weekend were finished when my boyfriend woke up with back pain yesterday morning, and my friend brought her dog with her to the mini-party. My beagles love visitors and are always very interested in new dogs, so you can imagine how excited they were when our friends came over with a 7-pound dog in tow. Bones got really excited and spent most of the night sniffing and following Molly around, sometimes biting the hair on her leg. By the end of the night, they were chasing one another around the house, jumping up on couches. Spock is usually shy of other dogs, but even he and Molly got to playing, and she is the only creature that has ever been able to get him to bark. I told my friend Molly was welcome back over anytime.

It's amazing to me that our beagles can play with dogs of any size and do well. It's always great to see them playing together.
