It was not too bad for my household - just a couple of days, like your vet said. Both of mine got the surgery on the same day, and both slept like rocks all night. But Bones was trying to jump down off furniture as soon as the next day, despite all my protests. You might get the hurt, guilty looks tonight, but Shadie should be back to her old self very soon. And as soon as she gets to feeling better, you can start spoiling her so she forgets all about the surgery

Bones has filled out a little since she hit the year mark and is not yet fully grown, but she's mostly kept her figure trim and stayed all muscle with lots of laps around the house and intense wrestling matches with her brother.
