Popcorn went into heat just before she was spayed too - it is apparently a bit more complicated if they are in heat when they do the operation because there is more risk of complications... or at least that was what we were told.
i'm not trying to get her spay done while she is in heat, what i am wondering is, why it costs more $$ once she has her first cycle. for some reason, the price before she has her first cycle is quite a bit cheaper than after. i thought parts was parts, and i don't see the difference. i thought maybe someone here might know.
