Here's the story: While at the kill shelter checking on the Bulldog we're helping, I found this petite black and tan Beagle girl. She won't be available until Tuesday, so I got on the phone with the rescue to arrange her foster. It turns out that this is at least her second time being picked up by the pound as a stray.
