Our pup has been doing very well with his house training the last couple of months. As I've posted before he was consistently having accidents in his crate during the day.

Well we have not had one since last Wednesday - he has gone this whole week without one - I am so PROUD of him. Mama's stopping at the doggie bakery on the way home to give him a huge reward...

I think he really listened during our pep talk when we told him that once he could be trusted to not have accidents he could come out of the crate. or maybe he heard his father's threats of a clothespin?!?

I think the BIGGEST factor is that we had him in a large crate with a divider to make it this size. It was a wire crate that had a tray underneath the wire. To be explicit - he never actually had to sit in it. I finally bought a crate that is his size and the tray fits over the wire. So one afternoon he actually had to avoid it.
