We just went on a four-day holiday with our bailey (she is almost 2). She was super active the whole time; running around, sniffing, chasing rabbits and birds, basically stayed outside the whole time ( was only inside to sleep). Since we left back for home yesterday morning she has been sleeping more or less the whole time. Slept through the 5-hour drive back home, slept most of the time back home, expect for getting up for her evening walk and dinner. Today morning she seemed perfectly fine during her 2-hour morning walk with her puppy friend, was her usual goofy self. But again she has been sleeping since we have come back. Is this normal after a holiday? She wasn’t like this when we came back from our last holiday (she had the time of her life then as well). Is she just tired from the holiday or does she have the post-holiday blues? Should we be worried? It is so weird seeing her like this; so used to her being an active full of life puppy.

Beagles play hard and sleep hard! Normally they just sleep while we are at work but on a vacation they are awake and sniffing the whole time so sleep is normal.

Yeah I hope she gets back to her looney self soon. Not used to seeing her like this. Working from home means we are around all the time, so even when we are working she plays with us.. she paws us till we drop everything and play.. can be fetch, hide and seek or anything 😝 that is why it is just odd

Agree with Molly's Mom, she's probably just catching up on her sleep.

Assuming she's UTD on vaccinations, if she develops gastrointestinal symptoms, loss of appetite, fever or anything serious then time for the vet.

Yup vaccinations are UTD and no other issues. Looks like she was just tired from all of the fun holiday activitie. She slept through most of sunday and monday.. tuesday onwards she was back to her normal self.. thank God for that!
