Last night was Elvis's first night of sleeping on the bed, instead of in his crate.

I fully expected to wake up this morning and find a hole chewed through the sheet, the blanket, the pillow, or any combination thereof.

What I did not expect was to wake up an hour and a half early to the sound of Elvis puking RIGHT BY MY EAR.

He threw up a large chunk of grass. I guess he ate it when hubby took him outside with him at 6:30 while getting the kid on the bus. I tossed the pillowcase in the laundry. He went back to sleep, I didn't.

Aah...that brings back memories!

I awoke one morning to the sound of Yodel puking right by the side of my pillow. I was out of the bed in two seconds but was too late.

He threw up a....whole mouse!!!!

That puking sound sure does light a fire under us humans, doesn't it?

Otherwise, it sounds like Elvis did well his first night in his new bed.;>)

Besides being a mouse-puker, Yodel is also a bed-wetter! I can't put him in my bed until I see him wee-wee outside with my own eyes.

The times he's peed on the bed were usually after my husband put him out to wee...but he doesn't have the patience to stand there and follow him around watching to see if he goes.
