I'm so mad at myself right now. Jersey managed to chew yet another pair of shoes tonight. :angryfire: I left the gate down in the closet and she got to another pair of my leather shoes and chewed them up! It's my own fault for leaving the baby gate down while I was doing laundry. She only chews the leather ones of course, not the cheap ones! At least she's got good taste. :evilgrin:

Oh so sorry Jen, Charlie chewed on my leather shoe, only one of them. Caught it in time, I can still wear it, ripped at the edge. You know what my husband said, Good for you, this time it is your shoe! haha! And of course the leather couch.

Awww I feel for you! I'm a bit of a shoe nut so I'd be very upset if they got a hold of any /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif So far they haven't gotten any shoes.

They love real leather, it reminds them of food. When we were in Morocco with Bilbo, she refused to go down the road where they were tanning leather, maybe she thought she might be turned into shoes herself!

Well, it's nowhere near as bad as leather shoes (poor Jen!), but I just lost my first pair of underwear to beagledom. I'm sure it's all downhill from here...Jewelie is quite the thief!!

I think whoever said that dogs learn a lot quicker than humans was right...dogs will also find that one tiny opportunity when your guard is down to get what they want!!

Katie, I can't tell you how many pairs of underwear (both mine and Mike's) have been lost to Jersey. She's quite the theif. She get's things when I don't think she can get to them. Little Houdini dog! :freak:

Yep...once a thief, always a thief....the trash cans here all have lids, the bathroom and bedroom doors stay closed 'just in case'....yet despite these precautions, Maggie insists on creating vent holes in underwear when given half a chance, and chewing up a shoe whenever the opportunity arises. Welcome to my world! :biglaugh:

I feel your pain. I walked into our living room and there is Jasmine chewing the heel off of one of my shoes. Mind you my husband and two sons were all sitting there watching tv.

I was more angry at them for not watching her than her chewing up the shoes....
