We have two, a tri color (mostly black and tan) and a black and white (mostly white) and they both shed. Although Rocky (black and tan) sheds a lot more. I think some of it is due to the fact that his hair is much longer and thicker than Daisy's. We just recently borrowed my sister-in-law's Roomba and it seems to help. It is set to vacuum once a day and it helps keep up with the cleaning so.
