This has been going on for a few days but I am really confused by it. Her appetite is great as usual, her energy level is as goosey as usual - zooming at times with Shiloh B, she hasn't lost weight, her coat is sleek and shiny and she potties as usual. I just gave her a good tummy rub and looked for any lumps/bumps including in the groin area and behind her front legs - nothing except she looked at me and wondered what mama is doing.

I feel bad that we haven't gone to the vet yet *especially with a 24/7 vet clinic within a couple of blocks) but with vomiting being the ONLY sign of something possibly being wrong - I know how Beagles cam find all sorts of stuff to swallow when they are outside. Plus I swear she is part cow - it seems like she is definitely grazing sometimes. Sometimes when she vomits it is rite after she eats - some of the food is still undigested and I think she ate too fast so I hand feed her some. Earlier this eve, she threw up before she ate but I know I can get very nauseated (sick)when I get real hungry. I could call the vet but they would just say to bring her in. I have added a little boiled rice and cottage cheese to her food which helps slow her down when eating.

I guess for the time being - at least the next day or two - will just watch her (not hard to do) Anyone here have any thoughts?

Oh, BTW - did switch food earlier this summer but she has always eaten it just fine and in fact I did a taste test with her - new food in one hand and old in the other - she did prefer the new. And we slowly switched and for awhile she was eating it with no vomiting.

My dogs go through throw up sperts sometimes, but nothing ever being seriously wrong...but it stinks that there are not a lot of vets out there like mine, I can call mine and ask questions and they can give me advise before I bring her in.
