Thanks all! For those of you out there wondering if 1 or 2 Beagles are best, these photos prove that 2 are great together. We got Sadie and Pooh together as puppies. So we had 2 Beagle pups at one time. They were wild little heathens that got kicked out of dog day care when they were 1 year old. I couldn't leave them alone for a minute or something would get chewed up. They are fairly mellow now except when they find a scent in the yard. Then they go crazy. Pooh Bear, the one snoozing in the pool chair has lost so much of his coloring. He used to be a vibrant tri color Beagle. That's ok though!!

I personally like that they lose a little color when they age--it makes them look distinguished!

Great pictures - and they do look like the absolute best of friends! I just saw these pictures of Pooh Bear after posting in the other thread about the scraggly coat - his fur definitely looks a lot like Booker's - except that hers even looks messier and thicker because it has always been wavy, especially around the scruff of her neck.
