How do your beags feel about the rain?
Monty absolutly HATES it. he refuses to go outside. I had to push him out the door this morning, he made the smallest pee ever, right in front of the door, and stared at me, begging to come back in! I felt so bad for him i let him, but now i'm worried he'll be uncomfortable holding it till his papa gets home at 3:30!

My 3 hate going out in it. Plus two are afraid of thunder and of course this morning it had to be thundering.

The other morning it was raining and you courld see Jasmine had to go really bad. I opened the door 4 times until she decided that she couldn't hold it any longer.

I figure on a rainy day if they have an accident I'll just quickly clean it up.

Spock and Bones hate rain to the point they will only use the potty on rainy mornings if we let them out the side door onto a 6'x3' concrete patio. Bones does her business right by the door (and sometimes one of them steps on it on their way inside @[email protected]), though Spock sneaks out under the eaves and goes there. It takes away from valuable don't have to worry about the dogs for a few minutes as we get ready time in the morning, and sometimes Bones refuses to go outside and ends up having an accident. In some ways, I am glad the Dallas area is regularly arid. I think everyone in my house would have been driven crazy if the weather was a repeat of last year's crazy weather - it rained almost every day for 2 months in the late spring/early summer.

Vinny hates it, BUT.
If its raining young Vince will not go in the back yard to do his business. However, he will go to the front door and allow me to take him out on a leash in the front yard in the rain.

The only difference is he must enjoy seeing me get wet while he wizzzes.
I do notice a slight grin on his face at times.

Chloe didn't mind any weather, but lately she doesn't really like the rain. I walk her in the rain and dry her out with a towel when we get home. I'll admit, she tries to pull me towards home in every chance she gets, but I never go back until she goes potty. She learned to do her business quickly in the rain.

Tucker doesn't like the rain, but it doesn't stop him from doing his business. He does hate getting his feet wet and walks on the wet grass like it is something icky. Cleo on the other hand used to hate the rain. As we are in the Pacific Northwest, rain is a very common occurance (everyday for months). We have a fenced backyard and a doggie door, but we still found ourselves out in the yard in a bathrobe holding an umbrella for our poor puppy.
During an ice storm Cleo took up pooping on the patio so she wouldn't get wet. Tucker took notice and he still does it years later. The only good thing is I don't have to go out int he rain to pick it up. You do have to watch your step on the patio.

If you show ours their harnesses and leads, they will go out in any weather. Walks are the highlights of their lives. But open the front door to the garden and its belting with rain, they wont go out. Susi peed in the kitchen yesterday!

Banjo seems completely unaffected by rain. He just walks out acting all normal. Now what's annoying is AFTER it rains the grass is soaked. Banjo LOVES to roll around in wet grass and dirt which gets him filthy.

I live in FL, so our entire summer is rain.

Jersey hates the rain. When it's raining she goes out, pees as quick as she can and then runs back inside. She'll poop if she absolutely has to but holds it as long as possible. Luckily, she pretty much refuses to go potty inside. I can't take an umbrella out though. She's terrified of them and won't go anywhere near one when they're open.

Funny, I just noticed it was raining and Blue was just enjoying himself in the backyard. He really enjoys the snow more, but he doesn't seem to care it is is raining. I think the snow is his friend because he likes to do his business in the biggest drift he can find!!!

Maggie didn't seem to mind the rain a couple of months go, but recently we've had to carry her out with an umbrella held over her, then set her down on the grass (with the umbrella completely covering her) to go potty. She remains completely dry throughout this process of course, while we get soaking wet. Such the little princess!

Of course it's raining again today, and Monty absolutly refused to go outside this morning. He peed right by the door while i was going to get my umbrella for him

I forced him to go out after that, and he just looked at me with the sadest eyes through the screen door. when i let him in, he went straight to his crate and lied down. He knew i was upset.
We made up though. i was putting my shoes on to leave for work, and he came over and held out his paw to shake. He's so cute, how could i stay mad at him?!!

You couldn't -- that beagle cuteness gets them out of so many tight spots! (P.S. A belated happy birthday to you!)

My Maggie absolutely hated the rain when I first brought her home -- even got her a raincoat which helped for a while. Now ... she could care less if we are having hurricane force rains and winds -- she is right out there doing her thing. I, on the other hand, am standing inside the garage, scared witless.
