I currently feed Sammy Nutro Ultra Puppy, but she will be a year old in April and I was looking for advice on what adult version of Nutro foods would be the best. I would like to start mixing the adult with the puppy soon, since we have about half a bag of the puppy food left. I'll be making the trip to the pet store tomorrow, and can always ask a sales clerk there, but I am not convinced they know what's best. TIA

This is such a difficult decision. the truth is that the very best food for one dog may just not be the best for another... The only advise I can give you is that if your beag is doing well with Nutro puppy, stay with the Nutro for his adult food, and that if you feed Chicken puyppy, go for chicken adult. If you feed Lamb puppy, then lamb adult is probably a better choice. No need to change more than necessary.
Remember to give it 4 to 6 weeks before deciding that this is not the food for your dog unless he has an obvious negative reaction.

Good luck and tell us what you decide.

I feed Charlie Nutro Ultra, chicken, lamb and salmon, I believe is their top of the line, I'm not sure. I also mix a heap spoonful of can soft lamb and rice, a spoonful of water serve as gravy to entice it.

I'm going to feed Sammy the Nutro Natural Choice lamb and rice. I mixed this with what was left of her puppy food, so we'll see how she does with this one.
I feed Oliver that same food. He also likes it and he always has a nice coat /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
