A few weeks ago my beagle got into some rotten crab apples and got roundworms. When I took her to the vet the other day, she tested positive for parvo. The vet prescribed amoxicillin and cerenia for the parvo and a dewormer. However, my puppy has not had a bowel movement in two days and I am wondering what is causing it. I looked up the medication she is taking and it says that it causes diarrhea, not constipation. Oddly enough, the only parvo related symptom that she is showing is not wanting to drink. Her energy and appetite is the same as its ever been. The vet's office isn't open today and I don't know what to do.

That doesn't sound good. I don't have an answer, but it is two days later, so hopefully you have been able to consult with your vet.

Good luck and get better.
