It has been 5 days since I got my puppy... Time flies when your not eating enough, sleeping enough, or spending any time by yourself because you have to take care of your dog ALL the time...

She is definitely more comfortable in my house. When I first got her she just crawled in my lap and snuggled up to me. Now, she is a little trouble maker, she chews EVERYTHING and has a new habit where she picks things up and moves them somewhere else...

She has only had 2 accidents in the house since I got her, that is less than half an accident per day. She went on her newspapers the other day, which is really weird because we haven't taught her to do that, we always just took her outside.

She eats now, a lot!... I still haven't found a treat that she goes crazy for.

Taught her how to sit the other day, she is really good at it...

After I do it a few times she sits before I say anything because she is starting to realize that I want her to sit and if she does, she gets a treat. Smart pup...

Thats about it, she sleeps through the night, drinks bottled water because she doesn't like my city water (is this bad for dogs?)

Glad to hear everything went well so far.

I think bottle water is ok. As long as it is without carbonic acid.

And oh yea, time is really fleeting when you have a little buddy at home who needs 24hour attention.

Glad to hear everything is going well! That's amazing about the potty training. Banjo just DOESN'T get it, lol.

Sounds like Bria is settling in well. Having a puppy is almost like having a baby. Luckily, the puppy grows up much quicker. I give Jersey bottled water and have no problems. I don't see why there would be. If I won't drink the water from my tap I surely can't expect Jersey to drink it.

It sounds like Bria is really doing well. Yes, having a puppy is very time-consuming. I remember when our Misty was a puppy. She was like the energizer bunny until about 9:00 p.m.
Then she conked out, and we breathed a sigh of relief.

dont know how old your pup is...but just wait...the devil will come...sorry not trying to depress you.. but funny b/c we all know here how it is to get a new dog, maybe rescue or puppy, they really come into their own in a few weeks...she will test you just like a child!!...hold your ground b/c they will test you!!

I hope she keeps doing as well as she is doing...sounds like things are going great!!
