I know how you feel! I felt horrible when I debated getting Abby spayed or not back in October. I felt bad considering taking away her ability to become a doggie mommy.
The three things that I kept thinking about and eventually convinced me was how horrible she looked and seemed to feel during her first (and only) heat. I also felt incredibly guilty thinking about possibly bringing more doggies (wanted or not) into the world with all the doggies out there needing to be resuced. Also, our family dog nearly died because my mother never had her spayed and her uterus ended up getting infected later on in life and she had to have emergency surgery to save her.
Abby was back to her old self within a day or two and Polly will be too /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
