A couple days after my Beagle, Israel, died, I found some paw prints that I'm pretty sure are his. So I bought some plaster of Paris and used it to make plaster casts of his paw prints. I'm not sure yet what I'll do with them, but I think it's cool to have them to remember him by, and I thought I'd share this idea for the rest of you.

That's very nice. When our 1st dog died I sent some of her ashes to a place in Boulder Colorado to be put into a small glass ball memorial. I keep by the TV and think of all the nice times we had together.
It will be good to have something of his to remember him by.

That is a great idea! When we had to put our Golden to sleep. My vet gave us her paw-print, name and date on it, made out of clay. It is on my mantle and I see it every day.
