Apparently the recall is for several store brand foods, including walmart and kroger that are manufactured by Menu Foods. The website is supposed to release specific brand names on Saturday. Ten pets have died, and others have had kidney failure. Please pass this information on to other cat and dog owners.

Thanks, I watched the news tonight. I don't buy any of the brands listed so far but they will be adding more to the list in the morning. No wet food for any of my kitties tonight no matter how much they nag.

The list is posted as of now.

When you pull up the list and click on the brand that you use, a rather complex list comes up and I am not sure I am reading it correctly.

There is a toll-free number but it is continuously busy.

The list is long. I don't see anything I buy. Last night on the news they said Iams and Eukanuba but I don't see those today. I don't use those brands either. I will be at Petsmart for classes today. It will be interesting to see what they have pulled.

Thanks for posting this. Someone in my Cushings group posted a notice last night, but there were only a few stores listed, and the list of all the brands wasn't out then. I was so surprised to see how long the list is! I give Poe Friskies now, but have fed Companion, which is Stop and Shop's store brand food and is on the list, But I haven't bought any since before December I'm sure. And Shiloh only gets canned food to take her medication with, and then only Mighty Dog. But this is such a horrible tragedy for those who do use the listed foods! I was surprised to see some of the food that were listed, like Nutro and Nutro Max. I thought it was just limited to store brands, but I guess not.
