Dave was at a party in his old firm today and met his former boss, who had taken one of our pups from our last beagle, Spotty. We were delighted to hear she, the pup, is very well and turned 16. One other pup is still alive, she lives in Washington.
The first photo is of Spotty with 'Whisky'. Seconf photo Whisky as a very full pup. Third Spotty with her brood.

Yes, we are amazed. Victoria in Washington DC is also fine. A third pup might still be alive, but the last we heard was a year ago, and she had cancer then. All of Spotties pups were neutered so no more in Spotties line. The pups are only half beagle, the father was a Spanish mongrel, rescued by a neighbour of ours. He is long since over the bridge, as is Spotty of course. Brought tears to Dave and I looking at the above photos, but its great to know some of them are still alive.

It is wonderful to hear about their longevity!
I love that photo of Whisky passed out on her back! What bliss..the life of a puppy.
