We've been without a pup for about 4 months now after our Bailey girl passed. Recently we started watching the local rescues for a good match, and had a meet and greet with Phoebe last Friday. She's a 3 year old beagle mix who was rescued along with a litter of puppies from down south (Georgia I think). We knew immediately we wanted to bring her home. She was officially adopted yesterday when we picked her up and signed all the papers for her.
Have no idea watch she is mixed with, but she has all of the beagle personality traits. In just a day she's shown to be pretty well behaved and smart, though we do have a few things to work on with her being a rescue. She plays hard, and sleeps hard. It only took her a couple of hours to find the afternoon sun spot on the couch for an extended nap.
