OK, anyone had to deal with one dog sucking the other dog's ears ??? :eyes: Then Bailey comes in with soggy, soggy ears ... you can't pet her!

Gosh, the more I post, the more I think I have really weird dogs !!! :lol2: But they are so darn cute .... it doesn't matter what they do !!

I'm sorry, but when I imagined it... I couldn't stop laughing.. :hysterical:
It must be so funny to watch...

On a more serious note, I have no idea what to tell you, as I know many people with dogs, and Chloe isn't my first dog as well, and I have never heard of ear sucking...

I suspect that Bailey is the Alpha and poor Ginger is just trying to stay on her good side. You noted how submissive Ginger is in another post and I bet she, not Bailey, is reason for this behavior. I suspect poor Gonger is reacting to some prior memory. I really think it could have been before she was weaned, before she came to live with you but something has IMHO imprinted poor Ginger with an emotional burden she carries out in life.

That is correct. Bailey is definitely the alpha! Ginger is the timid, fretful one. I guess maybe this is her being really submissive. Guess we'll learn to live with it.
