OMG! Saturday may be the DAY!

So I made my brief appearence a month or so ago saying that I was ready to adopt another dog, and the one we were looking at, at the time we ended up too late as he was already spoken for... but GOOD for him, as he is now in his new home living a happy life :eyes: The excitement is too much, I am so hopeful that all goes well when we meet him on Saturday, at 2:00!!! YAY! Wish us LUCK! :thumbup:

I love his name too, as in the evening after the kids go to bed for the night, we pay cards outside on nice nights with our neighbors, which their 2 Shitzupoo's Jacques & Pierre often join us teathered out, 'Blackjack' will be a wonderful addition to our evenings outside as well, he will certianly enjoy that. :animal18: :heart:

Louri, I'm so excited for you! I had just been wondering about you and how the Beagle search was going. I'm glad to hear this news. I hope all goes well on Saturday and you get to bring Blackjack home with you. Why is the family getting rid of him? Whatever the reason, I hope that you find years of happiness together.

They gave birth to a premature special needs baby, so their weeks have been filled with trips to the doctor and hospital for the past 3 months.

I can certianly see how that can be hard on them both physically and emotionally, plus they have a 2.5 year old at home as well. So they found it in the best interest of 1 year old Blackjack to find him a new family.

I think we are the perfect fit, in my opinion :bounce2:

Louri: How fantastic! Blackjack will be overjoyed at having all of you dote on him -- I bet his circumstances have made him feel a bit neglected. I am glad that his current family, in spite of their circumstances, thought of what would be best for Blackjack. Fingers and paws crossed for you!

Blackjack looks and sounds perfect!

The excitment of a pending (beagle) arrival is incredible, isn't it? When I was "expecting" Henry, the 2 week wait was excrutiating! I'll never forget that.

Keep us posted.
