Cobi is nine now...or will be in November. I would like to turn back the clock to being 8 but life goes on. Nine and ten haven't been good years for us with our pups.

He has developed arthritis in his hind quarters, not painful, but stiff. Then there are his ears....he scoots along the grass and they are (were) as dirty as someone dumping a bucket of dirt on him....got those cleaned out.
Now I've notice that he has lots of little moveable bubbles of fluid under his skin. The vet has looked at them, and called them something I don't remember, but nothing to get excited about...he does realize that I get excited about everything with my pups. Then there are the skin tags and moles. He has one pencil eraser size mole on his stomach that gets red, and then goes back to his flesh color. That, too the vet said to watch, but nothing serious. The skin tags, are popping up all over the place. He has one on his head under the skin, one under his front paw, and one on his side that is a little strange, but I think he must lick that one...NOW, he has developed a hot spot and sore on his tail. He broke his tail when he was a pup, so he has a wider tail at the base and it gradually gets thinner as it goes for the white tip. Friday that vet said to dry hydrocortisone on it, which seems to help a little, and if by Monday it isn't better, we should bring him in.

Do all beagles have these skin things going on, or is it something I did or didn't do? I'm looking for answers and support...you know I do get a little excited about my pups ).

I am sorry to hear about all of Cobi's issues! I don't have experience with any of them except the skin tags. Gino is 6 and has quite a few of them, I swear I feel new ones whenever I pet him but I was assured they are nothing to worry about

As long as you are on top of these things I am sure Cobi will be just fine, it doesn't sound like anything to really worry about but I know how you feel, I am quite the worrier myself.
