Good Morning, I've have a Beagle that is 5.5 months old now and have not seen any shedding. I understand it's seasonal.... but what if you don't have seasons? Where I live it's 75 degrees year round. Only asking if it's possible that I may bypass the shedding?

Most beagles are terrible shedders. Best you can do is keep them brushed. Puppies probably don't shed much. Maybe without seasons it may be better for you. I have 2 beagles and vacuum 2-3 times a week.

My dog is now 8yrs and I dont think its seasonal...she sheds year round. Definitely brushing helps and lots of sweeping...lol

Xerxes sheds a bit, regularly throughout the year. But beagles are a short-haired breed and not double coated (at least, Xerxes isn't) so it's not so bad. Neb is part husky and he blows coat at least twice a year, plus heavier shedding throughout the whole summer...he creates some fur.
