:happyhappy: First of all, THANK YOU for adopting these 2 beagles!!! It is so wonderful that there are 2 more beagles out there finding a forever home...Im curious, what made you decide to adopt a beagle, and the 2 at the same time?
Snoopy is a rescue and terrified of every loud sound, smoke, and people...he shakes like crazy, pants, ect...We have had him a few years now but the estimated he was about 1.5 yrs by tooth age when we got him.
I can only say the advice above is great, I dont have much more to add but that Snoopy had MAJOR seperation anxiety for over a year and we had to use Comfort Zone in the outlet to get him not to freek out with us leaving or jump at everything..but that was when we lived in Chicago, and it was loud, he still jumps, still runs from people, ect. But overall is much better and we do not have to use anything anymore.
*HUGS* to you for providing a home for these 2 beagles..it will get better. It took Snoopy 6 months to even play with a toy...and 1 year to even run around the house happy.
..we dont know the background, but you can be their future!!
