Hi everyone!

I am a new beagle owner. I rescued a 1 year old beagle that we named, Hunter. he sure is different from our last dog, a lab mix, and harder to train, but he is doing pretty well. Working on the dominance issues, but he is learning fast.

I am a relatively new Beagle mother and recently new to this forum too and it is fabulous! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Keep up the great work with Hunter, the joy Hunter will bring you in return will be worth the perseverance.

Beagles are quite the handful but now that we have 3, I can honestly say the rewards are so worth the grey hair

Wow...three beagles! I can't even imagine that! Just my one is a handful! Right now the squirrels are playing outside the window and Hunter is barking so loud I need earplugs! If I had three barking at once I'd get a hotel! Ha...! Bless you for taking on so many of these little guys...they do have a way of looking at you and breaking your heart, don't they?

yes it was kind of a spontaneous decision (each of them)! It is a lot in some ways but in other ways its better, I can't explain it. The barking in unison (or should I say dischord) gets under the skin sometimes, depends on our mood! We have squirrels, rabbits, groundhogs, chipmunks and deer outside so we have our loud moments. But again, I love each of them and wouldn't trade it for the world
