Hi, all! For those of you who collect anything and everything "beagle", you are going to love this one and the best part ... it is only $10.00!
It is a new beagle figuerine (wood carving) by Jim Shore Heartwood Creek. Here is the website:

I found it in a store and there was only a slight mark-up which I figured was less than the shipping from an on-line purchase. It is really cute!

I like it! Thanks Judy. I also like some of his other pieces. I've spent some time now browsing his site. If I had more room for collectibles right now, I'd be spending some money! I am contemplating the Beagle though. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I've been collecting some of his Christmas pieces for a while now. Saw some other dog breeds and have been waiting for a beagle. I really like the detail in his work -- expect that they are mass produced but they do have a hand-carved look. Nice weight to them. If you want to see some pieces up close, most of the larger Hallmark Crown stores carry quite a variety.
