For those of you who haven't read some of my posts, my one year old beagle puppy passed away a few weeks ago. My boyfriend and I were so lonely without her. So, my birthday is a couple weeks away and he surprised me yesterday with not just one but two beagle babies! One boy and one girl. The boy is lemon drop colored and we named him Bailey (after Baileys Irish Cream haha) and the girl is a mini beagle and she is tri-colored. We named her Abby. They are both about eight weeks old and ADORABLE. They love each other so much and keep each other busy for hours. I will post pics soon.

Thank you to all who replied to my post about my Sadie passing away. It meant alot to me, losing her was like losing a part of my family. I am very happy to be able to love a beagle again, even though they will not be like Sadie I'm sure they will surprise me!

If I didnt say it the first time around, I am terribly sorry about Sadie.

Congratulations on your two new additions though, it is wonderful to have two the same age to grow up together, best of luck to you all!

I'm so sorry for your loss, but everyone is right - new pets HELP us to heal. They can't ever take the place of the lost pet, because each pet we have makes his/her own special place in our hearts. I'm 70 years old and have had and lost many pets in my lifetime as a pet lover - I currently have ten beagles, including 2 littermates - brothers who are almost 4 years old. If one beagle puppy is fun - two are even more fun, and my personal feeling is that they entertain each other and don't get into quite as much trouble.
