Hi everyone, as you know we live on the river and ocean and we have had a horrible time with mosquitos. Suzy and I walk at night for about a mile and she started developing little bumps on her ears, at first I thought they were zits or something, but she had never got those before. So I watched her more carefully and she would scratch them like crazy. So I tried a little experiment, on one ear I put hydrocortisone and the other neosporin. This morning I look at it and the neosporin ear looks perfect, but they other still has red dots.
QUESTION
What can I put on her ears to prevent mosquitos from getting her? We have OFF but it says pups may ingest it and become toxic.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

K9 Advantix is supposed to repel mosquitos as well as ticks and kills fleas.

I use it on Daisy mostly for fleas. We haven't gotten a lot of mosquitos yet and I've never even seen a tick. There's no brush in our yard and no woods in our area.

Asking the vet is best.

Hope you find something that works!
