Charlie behaved so bad at the dog park yesterday!
He fought over a ball, he would not let go, kept barking at this other dog who apparently is the ball owner.
Charlie would not listen to his commands, stop, stay, no no. He went on and on, growling barking.
Until I said time out! We went home, pulled him all the way out of the park without even looking back. :angryfire:
Just to think about all that money on training, and right when I needed him to behave, he refused to!
About being well behaved when tired, I think it is the other way around for Charlie, he gets cranky!

I have learned from experience that any little person, human, canine, or feline, in your care will use every available opportunity to embarrass and frustrate you in public.

My daughter is, if I do say so myself, a very well-behaved child, but something about Target stores made her go NUTS and act like a little tantrum-throwing monkey. It was horrid. I could feel all the people in the store thinking, "Glad that little hellion isn't mine," and "what kind of mother lets her kid act that way." Sigh.

Same thing with dogs. I'm absolutely sure of it.

Aww, its always a hit or miss at the dog park it seems. Do you remember a thread i had a few weeks ago about Arty mortifying me because he kept humping the other dogs? Well since then we've gone back to the dog park several times (we were lucky to have a few days of great weather) and I have since learned that people really understand that some days dogs are just a little crazier. I hope no one looked at you funny and if they did I will go over and give them a big punch in the face! jk /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Dont worry, i bet charlie will be great the next time around!

I have the same problem at the dog park. I always get mad because Lucky just ignores me and all the training goes out the window. He will either hump every dog in sight, hide in a corner occassionally sniffing other dogs, or run around like crazy! He can be so embarassing though!
