How about yawning noises?
Every morning when we get up, our Sadie yawns several time. The sound she make starts out like a sigh and ends in a high pitched "weeee!"
Makes me laugh every time!
She's also a groaner if you disturb her while she's sleeping.

And I thought Wyatt was the only one! When Wyatt is getting ready to sleep or moves in any way while sleeping or getting up, he moans like a little old man. He's done it since he was tiny. what's funny...Doc doesn't make a peep when sleeping. Two funny boys... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Maggie makes the "wee" sound when she yawns in the morning...it ends in a high note....and then I say "good morning to you TOO"....we start our day the same way since she first came home.

The growl-y talk happens when I'm on the computer and not paying attention. She sits on the side chair near my desk and makes the growl-y talk until I look her way. Then the butt-wagging begins.

Jersey makes little grunts and groans when she is going to sleep. Every night, we have our ritual...she goes potty, waits for Mike to come to bed, then she crawls under the covers with me, curls up in a Beagle ball and starts her serenade of grunts and groans. It's like she's telling us all the woeful things that have happened to her that day. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Miss Shiloh has taken to adding a little groan to her begging!! I guess she thinks that will make me feel sorry for her and give her whatever it is I'm eating. Of course, that never works!! :rolleye11:

Caesar makes all kinds of noises. He closes his eyes tight and makes that high pitched sound when he yawns. It's like the biggest yawn of his life every single time. He also moans, goans and grunts, especially when he's about to lay down. Sometimes when he's sleeping he squeeks. I don't know what he's dreaming of but he definatley makes a squeeking sound. Sometimes he growls in his sleep and moves his paws too. It's funny to see him growl in his sleep but he always wakes up soon after very confused, so he gets lots of love for having a bad dream. Poor baby.

Our Daisy makes a lot of noise too, the yawn being the most common. Followed by a vigorus body shake, it always makes me laugh! She also snores too though. It makes it hard to fall asleep if she and my husband both fall asleep before me- talk about loud! I do have to say though, Daisy is not quite as vocal as our Great Dane. She sounds like something from Star Wars or something. My hubby calls it her ewok talk.

Hi,
Thanks for all the responces  i would have been on sooner but pc problems it's intresting to know that Gem's not the only one to make these groans and moans. I wasn't impressed yesterday she dug her way into next doors garden and decided she was going to have a stroll round there garden but i think it was to see their children she just loves people i couldn't ask for anymore /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Leia is a very talkative dog. I actually filmed her last night having a conversation with me.. I'll try and upload it.

I also recorded the girls doing their "mouthing" and singing to each other.

Leia always squeels when she's yawning, she moans, groans, barks, squeels.. She's VERY talkative when she's not getting the treat she wants.

When they were younger (and even now), if you moved them when they were asleep, they'd like grunt. Small quick grunts.. we do it all the time now, specially when we get up in the mornings we walk around grunting because we don't want to be awake (like the puppies do) and they look at us and bark.. feels like they are say "oh mummy, your not a puppy silly!"..

Must be a beagle thing hey? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Booker makes great grunting/stretching noises when she stretches out in the morning and after sleeping, and Moosie is a master at the "full body sigh". Popcorn is relatively quiet when she is awake - but she does snore (they all do)!

My Luna is very vocal. She moans when she's sleeping and has been awakened, or when she is cold and trying to make herself smaller, or when she is particularly tired - and sometimes for no reason whatsoever. She also yawns with the high pitched "wee" sound, and will "talk" to me - When I first get home and she's all "beagle wild happy to see me", I can actually get her to sing if she's in the mood for it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I don't know about Leia and Sally singing, but they are sure to tell me how terrible it was that we weren't there all day to be with them and how boring it was and what Leia did and what Sally did and how much further they've dug their way to china... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

They always make me smile /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
