Meet Remy!

Lets see if I can't post a pic from work.

Remy's a 8 week old male. Cute little guy. He's already taken to following me around. Walked him this last night and this morning with just the leash trailing behind him to get used to it and he followed me around for 45 min - 1 hour. I just made large purposeful strides and he kept up nicely. Didn't deviate or anything. He just wanted to keep up with me. Doesn't care about the leash either. I think I'll try to walk him a little bit with the leash later on today. Funny thing is when I stop he stops, sits down and then just stares at me with those big eyes.

Kennel training is going ALOT easier than I thought it would. Took him 15 min to stop crying and then he fell asleep. Woke up every 2 1/2 hours and took him outside to do his business. Back in the kennel with a little more crying but he got the idea and was out within 5 minutes.

Rich, sounds like Remy is being a good puppy! That's awesome. We look forward to hearing about your puppy adventures (and believe me, there WILL be puppy adventures)!
Congratulations. Am looking forward to watching him grow up.

Welcome to BW, Rich and Remy. I bet Remy is a cutie; can't wait for the pictures! Sounds like he's off to a great start.

Rich, he is ADORABLE, but you alredy knew that! Sounds like you two have really bonded - that is awesome. There are some dogs that you just bond with immediately. For me, it is my Chloe - who is my special baby. Don't get me wrong, I adore them all, but I swear that Chloe knows what I'm thinking, and has since she was a puppy. She was an unexpected gift (lady bought her at a pet store and decided not to keep her because of her older dog)so vet called and asked if I'd take her. She is my tiny beagle and the love of my life. In the picture, she's the one looking at me. And no, she doesn't really have blue eyes - just the camera being too close.
Thank you for sharing Remy with us. He is adorable. I miss having a puppy, but have decided that my Angel is my last puppy - I hadn't planned to keep a puppy, but she was the only survivor from JoJo and Tanna's last litter. There were 4 pups, one was stillborn, one was just too small and failed to thrive, and the same night that he died, JoJo rolled over on the other male and suffocated him. Angel was tiny and had to be bottle fed and supplemented, so it was hard for us to part with her.
